2017 Futures Update:
Château Haut-Batailley Now Available

2017 Château Haut-Batailley futures are now available for purchase. The Château was acquired by the Cazes family in March 2017. Since, their team has started working towards improving the estate’s vineyards and cellars through planting new vines as well as a planned expansion of the estate’s fermenting room and cellars. The Pauillac, with parcels of vines near Latour and Lynch Bages, was classified as a fifth growth in 1855. The 2017 is a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Merlot, being balanced with notes of black cherry, pure red fruit and hints of earthy graphite. Our team tasted the wine while in Bordeaux last week and we believe this is a wine on the rise. As the first vintage under the Cazes family, the 2017 will feature a new label illustrating the renewal of the estate. Order now to secure the 2017 Haut-Batailley at first tranche pricing.

Stay tuned for more information on the 2017 vintage and new releases in the coming days.

"This is very structured and serious. Full-bodied, tannic and powerful. Boom. This is one of the best Haut-Batailleys in years. From the new owners, who also own Lynch-Bages." (94-95 points) JamesSuckling.com, April 2018
