2016 Figeac (98-100 WA) and La Conseillante (99-100 JS) Available Now

Several top right bank châteaux released their 2016 Futures this morning. Collectors will not want to miss the Figeac – a polished wine with layers of rich fruit and spices and a silky texture. In regard to the 98-100 point score he awarded the wine, Neal Martin commented that he “tasted [the Figeac] on four separate occasions, and in the end, only one (banded) score became inevitable.” The 2016 Figeac is certain to become a classic and would be an excellent addition to any cellar. Also of note is the Valandraud, another St. Emilion stunner, and the La Conseillante, a magnificent Pomerol. Order now to secure these marvelous wines at first tranche prices.

"...a crisp blackberry nose, a little closed at first, opening nicely in the glass and offering raspberry coulis, pencil box and subtle mint aromas—classic Figeac in many ways. The palate is extraordinarily well balanced with a fine lattice of tannin sculpted to perfection. There is a slight edginess to this Figeac that I adore, the Cabernets very expressive, more so than the 2015, with graphite infusing every pore of the black fruit. This Figeac has an outstanding structure and a saline finish that beckons you back for another sip..." (98-100 points) Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate #230, April 2017
