Incredible 2008 Champagne at HDH Retail

An extremely floral vintage, the 2008 Champagnes undertake an alluring balance of concentration and acidity that is enjoyable from the first moment, but will also allow for aging. With a cool and wet start to the growing season, the 2008 vintage turned into ideal conditions with a dry and sunny summer, perfect for ripening the grapes. Stephan Reinhardt of The Wine Advocate commented on the 2008 Cristal Rosé saying, “the 2008 should have enormous aging potential.” The remarkable quality of the grapes provides potential for long-lived aging and would make a great addition to any collection.
