HDH Retail has just added the newly released and highly-rated 2017 Solaia, Marchesi Antinori and 2017 Cheval des Andes.

The 2017 Solaia, which James Suckling awarded 97 points, has terrific aromatics and great personality. It is a wine that should be laid down for several years to come but is sure to provide extensive pleasure with time.

Cheval des Andes, Château Cheval Blanc’s Argentinian estate, produced a lovely 2017 vintage. A 100-point James Suckling wine, it shows beautiful balance between fruit, tannins and acidity.

"Extremely aromatic with sage, lavender, blackberries and currants. Full-bodied with chewy and very polished tannins that melt into the wine. Foursquare and slightly austere. Fresh and well framed. A wine that needs five to six years to soften and come together completely. Try after 2025." JamesSuckling.com, August 2020

"This is the greatest Cheval des Andes ever. The integration of fruit, tannins and acidity is fantastic. Full-bodied, tight and solid with beautiful depth and integrity. Extremely long and exciting. Complex and compelling. Available in September 2020. Better after 2024." JamesSuckling.com, July 2019
