Château Margaux Announces Special Bottle Design to Honor Paul Pontallier
Newly Released Limited Tranche Available

For the first time in Château Margaux’s history, the estate has created a special bottle for their 2015 Grand Vin. The bottle design commemorates the exceptional life and career of the late Paul Pontallier. The 2015 Margaux was the final vintage for Pontallier and is a remarkable wine, reflective of the impact he made on the estate. We expect this vintage to earn 100 points across the board, being a standout of 2015 Bordeaux. Neal Martin of the Wine Advocate states “the bouquet is aimed directly at the senses…as it almost knocks you off your stool…the palate is astonishingly well balanced, perfectly poised…Beg for a bottle and worry about the cost later.” The Liv-ex En Primeur survey found Château Margaux to be “the wine of the vintage.”

The bottles of 2015 Château Margaux will be decorated with a silk-screened image of the Château and the cellars in grey and gold. Furthermore, a tribute to Paul Pontallier and the bicentennial of the Château’s architecture will be featured on the bottle.

This extraordinary wine sold out in less than an hour when first released en primeur. The Château has just released a very limited quantity of the 2015 vintage in conjunction with the announcement of the special design. Don’t miss the opportunity to add this historical bottle to your collection today.

2015 Château Margaux is being sold on a pre-sale basis, earliest anticipated arrival is February 2018.
