We will hold our first live auction of 2017 on February 10th and 11th at Chicago’s TRU restaurant. This exceptional two-day sale kicks off our new auction year with an impressive 2,346 lots of incredible diversity and provenance, valued at an estimated $3.6-$5.4 million.

HDH’s February auction contains a host of exceptional Bordeaux and Burgundy. Bidders interested in Bordeaux will find nearly 700 lots from 89 of the region’s top châteaux, with vintages dating from 1945. Collectors will not want to miss the 155 lots of first growth Bordeaux (est. $551,820 - $825,220) and the 15 lots from the legendary Château Pétrus (est. $138,100-204,700). We’re thrilled to be offering Wines From the Collection of Huston Street (lots 1296-1532) which features a range of Bordeaux from top vintages including 1982, 1989, 1990, 2000 and more. Burgundy lovers will be thrilled by the extensive offerings from highly coveted producers. Of particular note is a selection of wines from An Iconic and Long-Time Collector and Highly Cherished Friend (lots 1533-1679). Included in this offering is an extensive selection of Montrachet highlighted by three DRC vintages (lots 1573-1575). Throughout the sale, you’ll find additional DRC as well as selections from Armand Rousseau, Comte Georges de Vogüe, Dujac, and more top producers.

The sale also features an array of excellent New World Cabernet and outstanding Champagne. California is well represented by 438 lots from the region including 37 lots Direct from the Cellars of Bryant Family ($72,560-108,700), 70 lots of Harlan, and 16 lots of Screaming Eagle. Also not to be missed is An Exceptional Assortment Direct From The Cellars of Dom Pérignon (lots 2010-2037), which features several vintages of the house’s rare P2 and P3 bottlings.
