This exceptional sale will include over 2,000 lots of incredible diversity and provenance, estimated to realize $1,076,830-1,615,740. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry-leading bidding platform, available via mobile app (available on Android and iOS devices) or website (auction.hdhwine.com).

HDH’s October sale contains an estimated $278,730-417,250 of California Cabernet Sauvignon & Meritage wines, including a two-bottle OWC of the 1997 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon (lot 12, est. $5,500-8,500), a six-bottle OWC of 2013 Harlan Estate Red Wine (lot 162, est. $3,500-5,500), and two 12-bottle lots of 2012 Bevan Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon, McGah Vineyard (lots 1175-1176, est. $3,500-5,500). Those interested in Bordeaux wines should take note of the 365 lots (est. $165,010-247,460) including several bottles recently released directly from château. Also not to be missed are the 181 lots of Red Italian wine (est. $100,920-151,080), 165 lots of Red Rhône (est. $75,810-113,960), and 131 lots of Red Burgundy (est. $64,630-97,260).

In addition to the impressive range of old and new world wines, Hart Davis Hart’s October auction includes a generous selection of Bourbon and Rye. Highlights include NV Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey (lot 508, est. $10,000-15,000), NV Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey (2008 Bottling) (lot 588, est. $2,400-3,500), and two bottles of NV Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey (2015 Bottling) (lots 866 & 882, est. $900-1,400).
