How to Consign

Should you have carefully cellared wines you wish to consign, please contact us. The first step in the process is submission of a list detailing storage conditions of your cellar, along with quantities and vintages of the wines. Our experts will review your list, determine whether your wines are best suited for auction, the website, private retail services, or a combination of approaches. We will also provide appropriate estimates or selling prices, based on the chosen venue and market appeal of your wines.

We may wish to arrange a visit to your cellar to survey the conditions and inspect individual bottles prior to final selection. Our team can, if necessary, oversee all arrangements related to packing and shipment of your wine aboard a temperature-controlled carrier.

Commission & Other Charges

There are separate consignor commissions for auction and retail/website, each is determined on a sliding scale, based on the total value of the consignment.

The costs of clearing, packing, shipment, and insurance are deducted from the proceeds at the time of settlement.
