"The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet reveals notions of sweet Mayer lemon, grapefruit, white flowers and chalky soil tones, delicately framed by creamy new oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and quite concentrated, with succulent acids, attractive purity and an elegantly chalky finish. As usual, this hails from the Clos de la Jacquelotte, adjacent to a parcel belonging to Jacques Carillon." William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"There is just a trace of unabsorbed sulfur sitting atop the ripe aromas of white peach and lychee that are trimmed in subtle citrus and wood nuances. The vibrant and very rich medium-bodied flavors possess excellent volume and mid-palate density before culminating in a clean, dry and lightly citrus peel and mineral-inflected finale that delivers fine length if only average depth for a fine Puligny 1er. This too should drink well on the younger side." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Issue 75
