TASTING NOTES

"A strong minerally element runs through this rich white. Honey, pastry and baking spice notes surround the peach and melon flavors. Offers a fine, juicy finish. Drink now through 2021. 63 cases imported." Wine Spectator

"The barest whiff of wood can be found on the subtly citrus and oyster shell-tinged white orchard fruit-suffused nose. There is excellent density to the moderately powerful and concentrated medium weight plus flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the bitter-lemon, dry and sappy finish where a hint of warmth arises just at the end. Like many 2015s, this is not an elegant rendition of the terroir but it certainly doesn’t lack for presence or density. Note that while this should reward a few years of cellaring, it could easily be enjoyed young." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Issue 68

"Very pale straw-yellow. Slightly musky aromas of lemon, lime, white flowers, ginger and crushed stone suggest a classic austere Chablis. Juicy, savory and dry, even a bit lean in the middle, with citrus, spice and mineral flavors in need of a bit more texture and sweetness. Finishes with a slight phenolic bitterness--or is this wine just a bit lacking in supporting mid-palate texture? Softened nicely with air, suggesting that a good decanting--or, better yet, a few years in the cellar--will bring a more satisfying balance." Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com

"Delicious tropical character on the nose, and a fat, glossy palate. Very much grand cru, boasting ample flavour and weight. Tightly sound acidic finish, and very lengthy persistence." Richard Hemming MW, JancisRobinson.com
