"The nose is still rather closed. The palate is tense with lovely, fluid, conifer-scented freshness. There is grip, too, which right now feels like starched velvet. This will be very elegant and full of tart cherry fruit." Anne Krebiehl MW, The World of Fine Wine, Issue 55

"The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru has a very perfumed, floral bouquet with scents of crushed flower and chalk permeating the red cherry and strawberry fruit. There is a little more horsepower here compared to the 2014 if not quite the same delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, tightening up in the middle to form a more sinewy, backward finish indicative of a vintage that is generally beginning to close up. Give this several years to really come around. Tasted at the Gouges retrospective at La Cabotte." Neal Martin, Vinous.com

"Almost heady! Then serious concentration on the palate. Promises very well for the future. Rather dry finish at present but well constructed in old-school style." JancisRobinson.com
