"An overtone of toasted brioche is rich and smoky, layered with flavors of baked white peach, crushed almond and spun honey, balanced by a firm frame of acidity. Fine and creamy on the finish. Drink now through 2025. 271 cases imported." Wine Spectator

"Light yellow-gold. Intensely perfumed bouquet of honeysuckle, yellow apple, pear and quinine, plus a smoky mineral overtone. Spicy orchard and citrus fruit flavors are complemented by deeper notes of sweet butter and brioche and gain power with air. Impressively focused Champagne, with nervy mineral cut and lingering spiciness on the finish. This bottling, which is aged on its lees for seven years before disgorgement, is made exclusively for importer Kermit Lynch." Josh Raynolds, Vinous.com

"An overtly citrus and yeast suffused nose offers up notes of brioche, green apple and petrol whiffs. The elegant, pure and delicious medium-bodied flavors flash an abundant yet quite fine effervescence while delivering good if not special length on the solidly complex finish. With those attributes duly noted, I found this to drink sweeter than the reported dosage would suggest and in a rich vintage like 2005, this is perhaps less inviting than it could be."
