TASTING NOTES

"A wine with Provencal dried herb notes as well as abundant kirsch liqueur, black raspberries, blackberries, prunes, and plums is the 1998 Zinfandel Moore (Earthquake) Vineyard. A dense, full-bodied, stunningly-proportioned, multi-dimensional Zinfandel, it is a fine wine. It boasts a dark ruby color, thick, juicy, succulent flavors, and a low acid, heady, alcoholic (16%) finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate #129

"Moderately saturated ruby-red. Subdued aromas of currant and roast coffee; could use a bit more verve. Soft and silky in the mouth, with good but not outstanding flavor development and delineation.
