HDH Wine
2015 & 2016 Brunello at HDH Retail | Altesino,
Il Marroneto, Poggio di Sotto, and More
As the first Italian wine granted DOCG status, Brunello di Montalcino remains for many the greatest expression of Sangiovese, and HDH Retail has just added a wonderful selection from the highly acclaimed 2015 and 2016 vintages.

The 2015 vintage has been touted as "picture perfect" by the Wine Advocate and a "fairy-tale vintage" by James Suckling. These wines are polished and supple, with an intense concentration of flavors and perfect balance. Their unique structure allows for many of these wines to be enjoyed right away, yet they will continue to evolve for decades.

Wines from the 2016 vintage are made for aging, with significant structure and concentration alongside ripe fruit and intense tannins. James Suckling noted that the 2016 vintage was a "pivotal moment for the region," with many of the smaller estates producing outstanding wines on par with the more well-known names of the region.

Act now and add some of Italy’s greatest wines to your collection today.
