We’re delighted to announce an exclusive pre-auction dinner on May 17th that will showcase the magnificent wines of Château Latour, co-hosted by two members of the Château team. Jean Garandeau, Commercial Director, and Antoine Donnedieu de Vabres, Ambassador for Château Latour, will present and discuss four vintages of this exceptional wine, as well as five vintages of the Château’s illustrious second wine, Les Forts de Latour. This special dinner is part of our May auction weekend.

Château Latour is widely considered the most consistent, elegant and complex of the First Growths, with the most limited production. Les Forts de Latour, arguably the greatest second wine produced in all of Bordeaux, is a selection of the estate’s best plots outside of the Enclos, including some parcels that come just short of the Grand Vin in a given vintage.

The evening’s venue will be the elegant Water Tower Park Room at Chicago’s Peninsula Hotel. Acclaimed Chef Lee Wolen (former sous chef of Eleven Madison Park in NY), will create a special multi-course menu featuring contemporary American cuisine specially designed to pair with these exquisite wines.
