Avenues Ballroom
108 East Superior St.
Chicago, IL 60611

$800 per person

Please join us for our annual Comparative Bordeaux Tasting as we compare the truly outstanding 2009 and 2010 vintages. The tasting will feature 20 top Châteaux including La Mission Haut-Brion, Pétrus, and all five First Growths. In total, 21 of the 42 wines have earned the elusive 100-point score.

The 2009 and 2010 vintage Bordeaux have generated excitement from critics ever since they were tasted from barrel, and both are sure to be remembered as classic vintages. Robert Parker claims that the 2009 is “unquestionably the greatest Bordeaux vintage I have ever tasted,” but it’s been fiercely debated as to whether the 2010 vintage will surpass it after aging. This is your opportunity to decide for yourself whether you prefer the ripe, rich 2009 Bordeaux or the structured and firm wines of 2010.
