"The 2018 Chambertin Grand Cru has a finely detailed bouquet of blackberry, briar, crushed stone and a touch of iris petal; good focus and detail here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, taut and precise. The vibrant, shimmering finish is seductive. Excellent." Neal Martin, Vinous.com

"The 2018 Chambertin Grand Cru has also turned out well, offering up scents of ripe cherries, berries, smoked meats and rich soil tones. Full-bodied, ample and multidimensional, it's layered and nicely concentrated. If my speculations about the provenance of this négociant cuvée are correct, Fourrier deserves all the more praise for rendering what is probably the best wine produced from these holdings in this vintage."
