"The peachy and flinty combo of this wine is hard to resist. So fresh and vibrant, the acidity lighting up the cornucopia and white, yellow and berry fruits. Breathtaking herbal freshness at the finish. If you love Chablis but want a wine with fruit, here it is. Wake up now, because this will sell out fast!" JamesSuckling.com

"This March bottling is prominently labeled “Mosel” or “Moselle” depending on the market, and its current incarnation incorporates fruit from younger vines in Ohligsberg and (to 70%) in Goldtröpfchen. At 11.1% alcohol, it conveys a lovely sense of buoyancy to accompany stuffing and midpalate richness – a seemingly paradoxical combination one encounters with fortunate frequency in 2016. There is subtle creaminess uncannily allied to generous juiciness of lemon, grapefruit and white peach, and the animating, refreshing finish incorporates mouthwatering salinity as well as slaty underpinnings. This exceptional value represents around 25% of estate production." David Schildknecht, Vinous.com
