2016 Bordeaux Futures | Add to your Cellar Today

The 2016 vintage in Bordeaux is one of the best we’ve seen in recent years. The last half of the growing season was dry, with timely rain showers, sunny days, and cool nights into October – ideal conditions for ripening Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines have gorgeous pure fruit flavors, perfectly ripe tannins, and a precision and structure that evokes the 2010s, but with a much more subtle, complex style.

While many of the best wines are limited or sold out, Hart Davis Hart still has a large selection of the best 2016 Futures available. Several 100-point wines are available including Château Haut-Brion and Château Mouton-Rothschild. Also available are wines from Château Angelus, Château La Conseillante, Château Cos d’Estournel, and Château Figeac.

The 2016 vintage overall is superior to 2015 - the Cabernet-based wines of the Left Bank are some of the best ever made. Act quickly as prices will only go up as we replenish our stock and final bottle scores are released. As with the 2015s, these wines are sure to disappear from the market.
