Purchase 2016 Bordeaux Futures Today

The 2016 vintage in Bordeaux is one of the best we’ve seen in recent years. As Neal Martin puts it: “Let’s cut to the chase: 2016 is unequivocally a great vintage in Bordeaux…we are looking at a vintage that can send tingles down the spine and back up again.” Overall superior to the already exquisite 2015, the 2016 Cabernet-based wines of the Left Bank are some of the best ever made. The wines have gorgeous pure fruit flavors, perfectly ripe tannins, and a precision and structure that evokes the 2010s, but with a much more subtle complex style.

In the coming months, final scores for the wines will be released, which means the inevitable rise in price for the vintage. HDH Retail still has a tremendous selection of 2016s still available, with many at first tranche pricing. Our inventory includes Châteaux Beychevelle, Ducru-Beaucaillou, Léoville Las Cases, Margaux, Montrose, Mouton, Palmer, Pichon-Longueville, Lalande, Pontet-Canet, and more.

Act quickly as these wines are sure to disappear from the market once final bottle scores are in.
