"A very pretty nose combines notes of spice, earth and red berries. The pure and notably finer middle weight flavors exude a subtle minerality before concluding in a raspy but slightly better balanced finish." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Issue 74

"The 2017 Fleurie is a blend of three parcels as they were affected by hail damage and cropped at just 8hl/ha. It has a light and airy bouquet, perhaps just missing the exuberance one seeks in a Fleurie at the moment. This is quite bashful. The palate is well balanced with a fleshy opening, nice grip in the mouth and tart cherries towards the quite structured finish. Fine." Neal Martin, Vinous.com

"Again that liqueur-cherry nose as in the Chiroubles, smells like a sweet wine. Bone dry on the palate, of course, but sweet fruited with a density and concentration that does not overpower the perfume of Fleurie. Wonderful purity of fruit. Tangy little red berries. Fine carpet of suave tannins." (17.5 points) Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com, January 2019
